Cylinder Leakage Testing

• An alternative to conventional compression testers providing a direct indication to the location of the leak by measuring the rate of loss of compression for individual cylinders
• Helps to diagnose worn and broken piston rings, burnt and leaking valves and faulty head gaskets

• As an alternative to conventional compression testers this professional tool kit enables efficient diagnosis of worn or damaged piston rings, burnt or leaking valves, faulty head gaskets and damage to heads or block
• Dual gauge set up accurately measures system input pressure from workshop air supply and actual rate of compression loss for individual cylinders
• The pressure gauge monitors regulated inlet pressure to ensure accurate testing (up to 7 bar / 100 PSI)
• The leak down gauge measures the percentage of compression leakage
• A DVD containing two cylinder leakage data sheet templates is provided for accurate recording of actual readings during use
• Suits modern petrol and diesel (CRDi) vehicles
• Includes M12 and M14 brass quick release spark plug adaptors to suit most modern petrol cars
• Includes a selection of dummy glow plugs and an adjustable dummy injector for modern diesel engines
• Adaptors from existing Sykes-Pickavant petrol compression kits and diesel common rail kits are compatible and interchangeable with the cylinder leakage tester
