Essential tools for exhaust system fault diagnosis

Many factors can cause an exhaust blockage causing general poor running and high fuel consumption. A visual inspection of the exhaust system is time consuming and often of limited use. The Catalyst Back Pressure Tester works by simply fitting into the oxygen (lambda) sensor port to measure the back pressure in the exhaust.
Features a calibrated, dual scale gauge with colour coding to indicate a progressive pass/fail for idle and loaded tests
Includes a 2m heat resistant gauge hose for dynamic testing
Fits most European, Japanese and Asian vehicles with M12 x 1.25 and M18 x 1.5 oxygen (lambda) sensor ports
Gauge scale: -1 to + 2 bar (-30 inHg to 30 psi)
