The SPOON bonnet weighs 3.6kg less than the 7.8kg genuine bonnet, at 4.2kg. This weight reduction, especially in a small displacement, front-heavy FF vehicle, provides excellent handling characteristics such as quick turning, reduced brake strain, and improved acceleration.

The underside of the bonnet uses the same rib structure as the genuine bonnet, achieving high strength. The genuine insulators and garnishes can be transplanted as is. In addition, thanks to years of development of the resin, we have succeeded in minimizing discoloration caused by ultraviolet rays.

The installation is done using the same locking method as the genuine bonnet, so no bonnet pins are required.

Common to early and late models.

(Note) Carbon products may discolor due to ultraviolet rays, so we recommend applying a clear coat to protect against ultraviolet rays.

• Be sure to test fit the product before painting.
• The product will deform in environments such as paint booths/heaters, so let it dry naturally without applying heat.
• When the temperature is low, such as in winter, or when the humidity is high, dry the entire product at 40°C or less.
• Do not heat it partially. This may cause distortion.
