For Subaru engines fitted with the plastic exhaust pulleys or RCM OE alloy pulleys, this large heavy duty wrench locates into the multi-hex allowing you to safely undo those camshaft pulley bolts.
Important Note:
As with any tool, care and responsibility must be taken to ensure no damage is caused. Cam gear bolts are often extremely tough to remove and damage can occur if forced. If it feels as if the cam bolt or cam sprocket could fail during use a different tool or approach may be required. In either case it is the responsibility of the user to ensure safe operation to protect engine components from damage.
