Item: Radium 0-90 OHM Fuel Level Sending Unit - 8" (203mm)

Float-style fuel level sending units with standard SAE 5-bolt mounting pattern. Easy to install using the supplied hardware and Deutsch connectors (gauge not included). Fits most fuel cells including Radium, ATL, Fuel Safe, Pyrotect, Harmon, Jaz, etc. and extensively used with the Radium Fuel Cell Surge Tank.
Unlike most other senders, this rugged design features a FR4 conformal coated PCB, epoxy potted electrical terminals, and an anodized surface finish making it suitable for use with gasoline, diesel, and specifically alcohol based fuels including methanol, ethanol, E85, etc.

NOTES:

• All level senders are 0 ohms empty to 90 ohms full. This 0-90 ohm range is common with many GM gauges. See below for more details.
• Radium does not sell fuel level gauges, but many are available in the aftermarket. A popular option is this Auotmeter Fuel Level Gauge
• If you think your sender is not working correctly, test the resistance between the two wires and verify it is close to the expected values before contacting Radium tech support.
• Fuel level senders carry a 1 year warranty through Radium Engineering
• If purchased with a Radium Fuel Cell Surge Tank (FCST) the sender will come pre-installed.
• NOT COMPATIBLE with MS109E fuel.

ALWAYS MEASURE THE INSIDE DEPTH OF YOUR FUEL CELL BEFORE SELECTING SENDER LENGTH.

If it is not possible to measure the inside depth of the fuel cell, use the general guide below. NOTE: This is a conservative recommendation. Depending on the fill plate and bladder type, a longer probe may potentially work.

If using the Radium Spare Tire Fuel Cell, select the 8" long sender.

Electrical:

• 12VDC with unit connected to a single electric receiver gauge that utilizes an AC resistance curve (shown below).

Mounting:

• When mounted properly, the gasket seal will withstand an internal tank pressure of 6psi conforming to SAE J1810.
