Modern engines run higher oil temperatures and rely on engine oil to assist the water system in cooling the engine. PWR’s patented plate and fin engine oil coolers are made from 100% aluminium construction which allows the cooler to be made strong, lightweight and compact while offering high heat transfer and powdercoated for corrosion resistance. The plate design turbulates the oil flow and in conjunction with the unique louvered fin design provides unequalled heat rejection while offering very low-pressure drop. Manufactured with a 37mm core, these coolers are perfect for engine oil cooling, heavy duty automatic transmission cooling, power steering and differential cooling for race and road applications. All coolers come standard with Dash -10 AN & Dash -12 AN male adapters with Dash -6 AN & Dash -8 AN being alternative options. Custom versions can be special ordered with thermo fan mounts with or without thermo switch bosses.
