Proflow's universal UP32 vacuum pump is a must for any vacuum power assisted vehicle with less than 15” of vacuum at idle. This electric vacuum pump kit is used when the proper amount of vacuum is not being generated. Utilising a 12V easy wire system, this pump produces up to 22” of vacuum. This electric vacuum pump will provide the proper amount of vacuum to your brake booster when running components such as a big overlap cam.

Electric Vacuum Pumps ensure consistent and effective brake power. Until recently, the majority of vehicle brake boosters used the vacuum generated from the manifold of the internal combustion engine. However, with today’s advanced engine technologies (i.e. downsizing) or under certain operating conditions (i.e. cold start/engine warm-up phase), the vacuum provided by the engine is no longer sufficient. Furthermore, advanced engine technologies, such as electric or hybrid vehicles, are not capable of generating any vacuum pressure. Proflow's electric vacuum pump provides alternative or additional vacuum for these advancements in technology.

This is a direct replacement for the heavy duty Hella UP32 and should not be compared to the UP28 which has significantly lower usage life.

Note: This is a direct replacement item for a wide range OEM vehicles such as the SV6 Holden Commodore. If using in a non-oem application, it requires the use of both an inline check valve and vacuum sensing 12V activation switch.
