Proflow’s highly anticipated Series II Barra intake manifold has been completely redesigned for 2023 to provide an ideal solution for anyone looking to build an ultra responsive street/strip car! Improvements and reiterations have been made all around the board to produce an overall better performing intake manifold.

Consisting of a completely redesigned plenum, they now have provision for an 80 mm throttle body with an improved flange angle for clearance around the thermostat housing. It can be used with both BA/BF and FG factory fly-by-wire throttle bodies using the supplied adaptors, or it can be used with a universal 80 mm throttle body (sold separately) in an engine swap application.

This new manifold has been designed in conjunction with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software which aims to produce a plenum that evenly distributes airflow to all 6 cylinders, ensuring they are as tune-friendly as possible. It now comes with an improved billet fuel rail with additional AN8 ORB ports to make it easier for plumbing, and is also supplied with additional fittings. O-ring grooves have also now been machined into the mounting flange which are used to seal the manifold to the cylinder head (a traditional gasket can still be used however), similar to our other fabricated manifolds such as our 2JZ intake.

• Straight runners on all cylinders to promote better AFR's
• Increase flange angled for clearance around thermostat housing
• Redesigned plenum chamber for smoother airflow to ensure equal mass flow rate per cylinder for tuneability
• Validated using CFD software 
• Redesigned billet fuel rail with extra ports for simpler plumbing
• Adaptors for both BA/BF and FG fly-by-wire throttle bodies now included
• Reduced bore size to 80mm (from 90mm) to promote air velocity
• Integrated bell mouths for each runner
