Penrite Outback Hardened 4X4 Petrol 10W-40 is a premium high performance semi synthetic SAE 10W-40 engine oil. It contains premium base oils and an OUTBACK HARDENED formulation of additives, designed to provide superior protection in the toughest of operating conditions.

What does it suit?

For use in modern 4, 6 and 8+ cylinder multi cam, multi valve (Including VVT), naturally aspirated, supercharged, turbocharged common rail and direct injection engines. For use in modern petrol and light duty diesel engines where the use of SAE 10W-30 or 10W-40 oil is specified in the owner’s handbook. It may be used where ACEA A3/B3 and ACEA A3/B4 is recommended in model years prior to 2017 and where API SN and previous specifications SM (2004-10), SL (2001-04), SJ were recommended. It can also be used in older diesel engines requiring API CF or earlier specifications. For use in passenger cars, 4WD’s and light commercial vehicles. It may also be used in industrial engines, fork lifts and stationary engines. It can be used with Petrol/E10/LPG (Dual Fuel) & Diesel. It is not suitable for use in diesel vehicles fitted with a DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) or in Motorcycles with a wet clutch.
