This Duralumin sandwich plate or center plate replaces the cast iron plate in Nissan BNR32 and BCNR33 GT-R gearboxes. It offers much higher rigidity than the standard plate, which maintains the alignment of the gears under high torque loads. As a bonus it is also lighter.
