Motul Gear300 75W90 is 100% Ester synthetic oil. A high performance gear oil designed for use in transmissions and differentials without wet clutches under extreme high load/high speed conditions. Perfectly suitable for mechanical differentials (Detroit locker, Torsen, etc).

Used and trusted by professional race teams and racers competing in the most extreme conditions. From amateur to professional racers, they all appreciate the resistance to shock loads, reliable power delivery, superior foam suppression and unbreakable film strength. When the ultimate in performance is required, use Gear Competition 75W140.

For transaxles and differentials with wet clutch LSDs, use Gear300 LS 75W90.
In heavily loaded differentials and motorsport dog engagement transmissions, use Gear Competition 75W140 for extreme performance.

Motul strongly recommends installing or upgrading factory oil coolers (heatsinks or remote coolers) to ensure stable operating oil temperatures at all times under any conditions. Failing to do so may result in mechanical failure.

High quality transmission oil flush additives are encouraged, however do not use leave-in additives ('performance improvers') with any Motul transmission oil products.

Standards & Approvals: API GL4, API GL5

The API standards for gear oils (GLx) relate to an oils ability to resist extreme pressure/shear load and do not relate to compatibility with soft metals and materials used in and on synchroniser rings.
