The Mishimoto racing thermostat for the 2017+ Honda Civic Type R is designed to help your cooling system operate at peak efficiency, whether you're cruising to your local car meet or tearing up the track. Our thermostat begins to open 10°C earlier than the stock thermostat at 68°C (154.4°F) and is fully open 7°C earlier than stock at 83°C (181.4°F). That allows precious coolant to flow into the radiator and start shedding heat sooner.
