JE Pistons specially designed for the latest aftermarket blocks and heads, JE pistons are for use with the 427 or the 428 crank and aftermarket 4.250? crank with aftermarket 6.700? rod. The factory block should be sonic checked for 4.280? and 4.310? bores. These pistons use 1/16, 1/16, 3/16 rings. The compression ratios are figured for 10.150 block height. Larger bore sizes available as customs, call JE for details. Note: 162116 & 162117 Designed to work with OEM and aftermarket connecting rods.
