Designed off the original Gibson Motorsport winning GT-R's, the Hi Octane Racing alloy sheet fabricated sump extension is a must have for your GT-R!

For many years, the oiling system has been the achilles heel of the RB26 engine causing many catastrophic engine failures often the first time the vehicle ventures anywhere near a race track. The standard RB26 sump is only barely adequate for an engine producing 206kw under road conditions, so once power levels are increased, so too are the G-forces. Coupled with sustained high RPM experienced under race conditions, the standard sump will run low on oil and what little oil is in the sump will be splashed away from the pickup which usually results in engine failure. This was originally designed off the Gibson Motorsport Winfield winning GT-R's and was also used on the Hi Octane Racing R32 GT-R for tarmac rallies, circuit racing & drag racing for many years with great success!

The Hi Octane Racing sump extension does not hang as low as other competing products so is excellent for regular road use and lowered cars as well.

The gated component of this sheet metal extended sump is welded to the bottom of your factory sump windage tray, and the oil pick-up extension piece is supplied in the kit. The sheet metal extended sump holds 8.5-9L and has a -10 AN Fitting on the cold side for catch can or head drain plumbing.
