The days of drilling and tapping your cylinder head to fit an oil drain are over with the newly designed Hi Octane Racing RB Head Oil Drain.

The new design from Hi Octane Racing makes installation much easier and safer by using an existing factory hole to mount and hold the drain in place.

One major problem with the RB series engine's is oil pooling in the cylinder head. At high RPM all the oil is pumped up into the cylinder head and the engine doesn't have adequate return galleries. This will cause the sump to be drained and eventually the engine will suffer oil surge which can cause damage to engine bearings and result in engine failure.

Hi Octane Racing designed the Head Drain to help fix this problem, it was designed with offset drain position to allow as much oil as possible to be drained.

For GT-R owners we strongly recommend the use of the Hi Octane Racing Cam Cover Baffles along with the Hi Octane Racing Sump Extension which has a provision to run this drain and return the oil directly back to the sump.
