FS201 - Fuel Filter Water Separator 10 Microns

The SAAS FS201 Fuel Water Separator is designed to ensure clean non water contaminated fuel is delivered to the engine. Fuel Water Separators provide effective protection for engines used in automotive, industrial, marine and recreational applications.

Filter Removal:

1. On the top of the filter housing there are 2 x hex nuts.
2. The smaller of the 2 has an 8mm head and this is what retains the filter body.
3. The 8mm bolt passes all the way through the filter and into the plastic drain cock at the base below the inspection bowl.
4. Loosen off the 8mm bolt until it threads clear of the drain cock
5. Remove the drain cock
6. Remove the plastic inspection bowl
7. The filter is sealed by 2 o-ring gaskets
8. Ease the FS296 filter from the housing being careful not to damage the seals
9. Re-installation is the reversal - be careful not to over-tighten as this will cause pinching of the shaft o-ring seals and potential leakage
