The RCM Dampened Oil Pickup pipe is the latest addition to our comprehensive range of RCM oil control products for the EJ series engines.

The issue of oil surge on the Subaru flat four engine layout is well known and the RCM Dampened Oil Pick up is another simple yet very effective way to help protect your engine against potential damage during spirited driving, especially whilst on track and when using sticky tyres.

Supplied pre lock-wired to a new genuine Subaru oil pick up pipe, the cleverly designed suction adaptor effectively lowers the point at which the oil enters the pickup reducing the possibility of oil starvation to the pipe during heavy lateral loads when cornering.

Further benefits of the adaptor comes from its construction and castellated form which allow it to touch the base of the sump pan without restricting oil flow whilst also allowing it to act as a cushion or damper. In the unfortunate situation where damage to the base of your sump has occurred the risk of restricted oil flow into the pick up pipe is negated.

Another benefit of this product is the reduction in fatigue on the OEM pick up pipe itself by acting as a vibration dampener further improving on the reliability of your Subaru engine package.

Easy to install and compatible with all OEM pick up pipes and our RCM Baffled Sump kits these are a very cost effective way of protecting your engine against an expensive repair.

Note: Not suitable if upgrading to Equal Length or Twin-Scroll Headers with 2.5L Oil Pan.
