Description

The TCC01 is a so-called "Thermocouple Amplifier" – a device that amplifies and converts the signal from a Type K sensor – our simple Thermocouple Converter.

With our TCC01, you can easily connect your exhaust gas temperature sensor, for example:

Insert the Type-K probe on one side into the converter, and on the other side, use the DTM plug for power supply via 5V, ground, and the signal for your control unit or data display.

Support for a Variety of Devices:

Any device with an analog input for 0–5V signals can be used as a receiver, including:

The Type K converter can also be used for exhaust gas temperatures, liquids (1 mm thermocouples), and gases (0.5 mm thermocouples).

Installation:

Installing the TCC01 Thermocouple Converter is straightforward. Mount the unit in a dry, moderately cool location (e.g., behind the firewall). The integrated mounting tab allows secure attachment with an M6 screw, cable tie, or adhesive tab. Multiple modules can be installed side by side for expanded monitoring.

CANchecked displays are preconfigured for direct connection to the TCC01. Simply connect the signal to AIN2.

Multiple Modules:

For applications such as twin-scroll turbo manifolds, multiple TCC01 modules may be required. Modules can be easily stacked together.

For setups with multiple Type K probes, the TCCXX series (TCC04, TCC06, TCC08, TCC10) provides direct CAN bus communication for even greater flexibility.
