TMU and BMU – Wireless Multi-Channel Infrared Sensors

The TMR01 or BMR01 is the dedicated receiver box for the TMU and BMU wireless sensors. When purchasing a TMU04 or BMU04 set, the receiver box is included and does not need to be purchased separately. If purchasing individual TMU01 or BMU01 sensors, a receiver box must be purchased to operate the system.

The PSR TMU and BMU are advanced wireless multi-channel infrared sensors designed for tire and brake temperature monitoring. Each unit communicates with an external receiver box via CAN connectivity and offers full configurability with 8 or 4 temperature channels per tire or brake disc. With an update rate of up to 50 Hz and a rechargeable battery providing up to 15 hours of active track use, these sensors deliver professional-grade data for performance tuning.

Understanding how surface temperatures develop throughout a lap is essential for suspension tuning, driver training, and setup optimization. Thanks to the wireless design, installation is simple, and the system can be moved between vehicles in just minutes.

This system is purpose-built for monitoring tire and brake temperatures, helping drivers and engineers improve performance, optimize setup, and enhance vehicle safety on track.
