Then we rebuild the part over and over again until the gear is as strong as we can make it. Our gears have survived 1/4 in and larger debris impacts. Our gears have survived the number 1 crank cap coming apart and the pump housing splitting in half. The gears themselves though? Those were loaded into another housing and away the assembly went to race day.
