This item is a direct replacement for the factory item which provides a powerfully quick and smooth engine startup. Higher RPM comes through a redesigned gear tooth count and diameter accompanied by increased size of armature which also provides extra torque. Approximately 20% higher RPM at startup provides a big advantage jump for engines more difficult to start. A great alternative to the now discontinued OEM unit which is also more cost effective.
