BMW Z4 (E85 / E89) Fitment Guide

The Z4 platform combines a lightweight, agile chassis with potent powertrains. Whether you are canyon carving in an E85 Z4M or pushing a boosted E89 on the circuit, OEM brakes quickly become the limiting factor. These Alcon Big Brake Kits shed unsprung weight while massively increasing your thermal capacity, ensuring consistent, fade-free performance lap after lap.

Confirmed Fitment:

• BMW Z4 E85 (2002-2008, Inc. Z4M)
• BMW Z4 E89 (2009-2016)

Performance Tiers:

• Street Performance (CAR97 / CAR99): Engineered for spirited daily driving. These calipers feature standard dust boots to protect against the elements and road grime. Note: CAR97 is strictly engineered for 32mm rotor configurations.
• Street/Track Performance (Car49 TA4+ / CAR89 TA6 / CAR89 ENP): The ultimate hybrid setup. The nimble Car49 TA4+ is perfectly matched to lightweight 343mm setups, while the CAR89 variants handle larger 355mm+ rotors. The ENP version features a premium Electroless Nickel Plating for superior heat radiation.
• Track Performance (CRB343 / CR6380 / CAR89): Dedicated motorsport braking without dust boots. Strictly for competition use to ensure maximum clamping force without fade. Note: CR6380 is exclusively compatible with 355x32mm and 380x32mm rotors, while the CRB343 is optimized for 343mm setups.
• Endurance Track (CR6420 / CAR89 Billet): Purpose-built for multi-hour racing events. Note: Endurance kits are strictly paired with high-mass 34mm and 36mm thick rotors to guarantee maximum heat capacity during long stints.
